I see that Hop & Grape have started to stock Star San. As far as I understand, it won't stain as betadine does. Does anyone know if it can be used on aluminium?
It's listed at £6.40, but it doesn't say how much is in a bottle.

I think it's 118ml. 2.5ml makes 1580ml solution you can continue sanitising with it so long as the Ph is less than 3.5.
It's not suitable for use on soft metals, I put a couple of sheets of cling film over the cornie before I put the lid on as it should not come in contact with that.
I use it on my CFC though as I read that Palmer uses it on copper and I believe he is a metallurgist.
