Hose Gun

Post by Doingatun » Sat Nov 08, 2014 2:03 pm

Hi I've used various hose guns for rinsing and washing down equipment, always used food safe hose, but have a niggle about food safe issues with the guns, not to mention the Chinese plastic, metals and lubes. My current gun has not been used for a few months due my back injury giving me serious grief preventing any brewing. Picked the gun up to use and load of white powder poured out of the hose connector, on inspection the internal alloy? is corroding and braking down....yuk!

Anybody know of a food safe gun that doesn't cost a fortune.

Cheers

I use a bog standard hose + a Lidl cheapo gun for all my brewing liquor, works well.

Thanks Andy, I get a tad OCD with every thing being food safe, with others drinking my ales.
