I remember someone attaching cornie disconnects to a hand-pumped garden spray for use as a cleaner for beer lines, and selling them. I've been trying every search term I can think of for the last hour and can't for the life of me find it.
Anyone got a link?
Thanks
Paul

That looks a bit beyond my DIY skills, I'm sure there was a user on JBK who was making them for sale some time back? Or does anyone know of a home-brew supplier in UK selling these?Goulders wrote:I can't remember how to embed video, but the link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YK1-7mHk48

I don't remember anyone selling them I'm afraid. However, I am no DIY expert and made one as below. I have sanke kegs and a kegerator, and therefore I did not need the cornie disconnects.
1. Buy a garden sprayer from Wilkos.
2. Unscrew the sprayer from the end and screw one of these on the end. insert 3/8 beer line and off you go.
3. If you have a corney keg, you can get counter pressure filler caps for the beer line to go onto. See this thread

Yep, got one of those -- I watched the video before buying it and fancied adapting a garden spray like the guy in the vid. Are you suggesting using the hose barb on the filler cap as the adapter for connecting the disconnect? I hadn't thought of that, might have to place another order!Goulders wrote: 3. Yes, as per the video.
So:
Spray gun>>>JG fitting>>>beer line>>>counterpressure filler
Connect the ball lock with the line needing cleaning to the counterpressure filler and clean.
