Opens with a good his, Pours a fantastic deep dark brown colour with an off white head. There is good lacing on the glass, and a medium head retention.
On the nose you get a dark chocolate aroma, with a coffee note and also sweet plums.
This ale has a medium body. There is a very Cocoa chocolate flavour, that develops into a citrus lemon flavour. This is very malt forward, but enjoyable and getting hints of biscuit malt.
