Secondary fermentation

Post by Daz1737 » Mon Dec 20, 2021 3:02 pm

Hello, I forgot to add the brewing sugar when I transferred the Woodfordes Tinsel Toes to a bottling bucket. All 45 bottles have now been capped. I was thinking of uncapping them and adding the sugar solution. Any ideas? Thanks. Daz

You could leave the bottles for a few days then try one. There might be enough in the way of sugars left in the bottled beer to get some gas into it.

just checking in ... by "brewing sugar" do you mean the small ammount you add for carbinisation? (aka priming sugar)
