Northumbrian Water Quality Reports

(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

Northumbrian Water Quality Reports

Post by bitter_dave » Tue Jan 11, 2022 10:51 pm

Northumbrian water quality reports now seem to have a 'brewers information' section. Here is the one for where I live:

Seems to contain pretty much all the information needed to plug into Graham's water treatment calculator: https://www.jimsbeerkit.co.uk/water.html

Thought that might be useful for someone.

That's good to see. Yorkshire Water only publish partial info' but if you contact them they'll provide everything you need and usually more up to date than the published data. I tend to collate the results over a few years and then average out given the water 'profile' will be changing slightly throughout any given year.
