I still think TFR is easier, quicker and cheaper.

It might be, but I personally wouldn’t recommend someone use it unless they knew what was in what they’re buying. There seems to be a wide range of formulations, and can include dyes and waxes, neither of which I’m keen on having in a brewery.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

It wouldn't be that hard to mix your own.
The main component being water and we are all a bit good with that already...
