CAn you give me a guide to fermenting temperatures, or what would be best for this recipe that i will be doing soon.
I will be only making up 12 ltrs so i will be halfing the recipe.
based on Wheelers Muprphys Stout recipe.
2250kg pale lme (or 1.6 kg lme/1 tin + 520g dme or 1.8kg dme)
400g roast barley
80g chocolate malt
550g sugar
target hops to 35 IBUs (29g based on the alpha acid figures for the goid foil hops sold by H&G)
(the increased lme figure takes into consideration losses to the hops and trub in case anyone asks)
