Boring and bland . . . perhaps it needs to age a bit . . . I find mine taste better once clear and 'matured'
MA, Have you tried a variety of wheat beers, they can be quite good.Well i went to the offy & bought a few bottles 1 being Fiddlers Elbow. SHITE!!! i dont bloody like it. Ive decided i dont like the taste of wheat beer
I certainly wouldn't say Fiddlers is wheat beer. Maybe there's some wheat in there, but IMO, it doesn't contribute much to the taste, well not enough to be a wheat beer.
Hmm maybe im just a fussy sod. Had a pint of pendle witches brew the other night & that had a likeness to the unpleasant taste. But that pint was wrong. Ms Ant said it was worse than my first few kits (cheeky biatch slating my brews). I had 3 mouth fulls n left it. It was worse than stale n there was no hoppiness there. Must have been off. Prob sat in the barrel for a fortnight.
Anyway, Fiddlers. I'll let it condition then decide if mines better.
