So i just managed to burn the inside bottom of my stockpot, guess U didn't stir the LME properly.
It's black and definitely not coming off with elbow grease. It's soaking in bruclens right now, but any ideas how to clean it up ?

Burnt Stockpot.
For removing food that had 'caught' on the bottom of saucepans, my grandmother used to boil washing powder until whatever was burnt on came off. I've done this with a stainless steel saucepan and it worked a treat.
Please note that if you try this & it ruins your stockpot I only mentioned 'saucepans', not 'stockpots'
