beer recipe kits
beer recipe kits
having looked on some american online home brew stores i see that alot of them sell recipe kits for extract brews. the kits include extract, hops, grains and yeast to make a particular beer. i was wondering if there are any home brew stores in england that do this?
Re: beer recipe kits
I've not seen extract kits but you can get all-grain kits.
Speak nicely to Paul at Barley Bottom and he might consider producing an extract kit!

Re: beer recipe kits
Though you'd have to buy the Malt Extract elsewhere, it wouldn't be hard to order up some small amounts of grain, its cheap enough from barley Bottom to get a few odds and ends in 500g bags (at least thats what I'm doing in preparation for my extract brewing)boingy wrote:I've not seen extract kits but you can get all-grain kits.

These kits give you all of the specialist grains and hops required for an extract brew. All that is required on top if this is 3kg of Pale LME. I made the Barley Wine and found it to be a good introduction into extract brewing.
