Cheap Hops
Re: Cheap Hops
I would order the following: (not all at once though)
EKG, Challenger, First Gold, Northdown.
Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Simco, Mount Hood.
These are what I use regularly but I would probably order different hops as well to experiment with.
(Edit) Can't go wrong with Styrian Goldings either.

Re: Cheap Hops
I think Deadlydes just did a hop bulk buy using Charles Faram 5kg Vac packed and it worked out £2 per 100g delivered going by the thread.
Will you be vacuum packing the hops again once you've split them from the big hop brick?

Re: Cheap Hops
Looks like a decent list, but i'll add my tuppence, Cenntenial would be a good choice of hop to flesh out the american hop section and im pretty sure it would be popular.
A smattering of noble hops would be good for those of us who like to brew lagers (the dark dark side) or delicate ales. Hallertua or saaz etc, either from europe or from NZ (much higher AA content).
This might push you over the 12 mark, if i was to lose anything though it would probably be the first gold and brewers gold.

Re: Cheap Hops
I've never tried anything with Cenntenial hops before, Aurora hops are popular too so many different hops a vote would be good lol
I would like to get saaz and Hallertau types also. I'm hoping to get online with all stock available in the next 3 weeks.
Everyone's input is most appreciated .

I'd agree with Delboy on what hops to remove and which to add.
