brewing up in a min - advice needed

hi guys,

just decided to get a timothy taylor landlord brew on from GW book. This will be my secound AG brew

i have come across 2 problems, first is there is no mention of alpha acid contents in the book so what should i do??

secound i only have 40g of styrian golding hops, so im 10g short. what is the best thing to do??

the mash is on now so it looks like it will be midnight before i pack up

boy was i knackered for work this morning........... i wont be starting that late again in a hurry

We've got 24 hour drinking so 24 hour brewing seems the logical next step

Yes, always start early incase things take longer than expected. When I first started brewing AG I was still at school. One lunchtime I went home for lunch and then started racking 5 gallons to demijohns. I was late back from lunch and had to sign in with a reason for lateness. Apparently it was the first time that reason had ever been given for lateness

My first afternoon/evening brew took until about 1am.

Had a few problems that day.
