i have come across 2 problems, first is there is no mention of alpha acid contents in the book so what should i do??

You're going to beat my personal record of an 11.30pm finish.

Have a good one!

We've got 24 hour drinking so 24 hour brewing seems the logical next step :)
Best wishes

Yes, always start early incase things take longer than expected. When I first started brewing AG I was still at school. One lunchtime I went home for lunch and then started racking 5 gallons to demijohns. I was late back from lunch and had to sign in with a reason for lateness. Apparently it was the first time that reason had ever been given for lateness :D

My first afternoon/evening brew took until about 1am.

Had a few problems that day.
