Wine corks

Is it OK to soak my corks in warm Chemipro Oxi solution for a bit before corking? I'm getting mixed responses on what sanitiser to use.
Most people advise against chlorine based products (e.g. VWP) because of "Cork Taint", some people have said not to use Sulphur based products because they affect the cork (no idea how), and I found one post saying not to use oxy based products, but didn't give a reason. :?
