Damn near fell off the traverse between Scafell and Scafell Pike once - in the rain of course.....

Memo to self: Need to get a Stein with a hat to stop dilution of beer, chains to get out of the mud, sowester, life jacket, flippers, snorkel....

I can always go via N. Wales and borrow the brother-in-law's wellies!
Mind you, I might have to take the wife if it's the Lakes
Getting half way up any of the hills would probably kill me now, but I did make Skirrid the other week - there's an idea, somewhere near Abergavenny, there's beautiful for you now.....

Terrible shame we haven't got Archers any more

I'd be well up for that, the NE is a bit out of my driving radius :=P

So... north, midlands, south? How will we agree? I really do think weather needs a serious thought. Always lovely down here. Sunny Brighton and all that!

Obviously Essex would suit me down to the ground, but Kent would be the most appropriate, what with all the hop farms etc. Would be so cool if we could do it at an actual hop farm.
