PID = Pricy, Incomprehensible Device (or maybe Proportional, Integral, Derivative) controller. Essential for RIMS and HERMS brewers (oops, that just made things worse).

I always go for the European lager, with the lager yeast. No need for any hop teas. With 1 kg BKE. tastes like Stella.

HLT = hot liquor tank. It is the vessel used for heating up your strike water (mixed with grain, becomes mash) and heating up you sparge water.What does HLT stand for? And, more importantly, what is it's purpose?
