Good luck pb, you'll have fun watching it try to climb out of the demijohn
The apple juice you have picked is one of the better ones for TC IMO

after reading about peoples turbo cider i just got in expecting a foam head pushing up my airlock, instead i just have a flat liquid with bubbles rising and a very active airlock
is this normal for the yeast im using (see first post)

perhaps the proper cider yeast is less thermonuclear in juice than is ale yeast.
mine's pretty foamy but not blowing the airlock out.
That said, i'm not using a heat belt.

I stuck mine in my stockpot with a bit of warm water.
Kickstarted the ferment rather nicely.

my first turbo cider is now down to a gravity of around 1000 and is still bubbling away like mad.

I made the mistake of transferring mine to a plakky bottle and forgot about it.
I remembered it last night and took it out of the FV i stashed it in for safety reasons.... it's still going...
so i thought hell, i'd better release the pressure in there!
i did so.
I'm still doing it this morning!
IT NEVER ENDS!
