So I had a go at my own recipe the weekend I didn’t use a beer engine so not sure what the outcome is going to be hoppy I hope

Marris Otter 3600 grms
Vienna Malt 250 grms
Crystal pale malt 400 grms
Torified wheat 200grm

Hops

Chinook 12 grms start of boil
Chinook 12 grms half hour into the boil
I then added 10 grms of Simcoe every 15 mins till the 90 mins was up.
Yeast S04

What do you think, have i over done the hops ?

How many litres? Doesn't seem excessive and if that's what you want why not.

Recipe looks fine and the hopping shouldn't be overdone for an American style beer (though I don't know what the IBUs would be so I can't comment on bitterness). For hop forward beers, you might like something a little cleaner like Nottingham or US05, but otherwise it should work fine - an English take on an American Pale Ale.

Its a nice light beer hopping for some good hop flavour

Update !!!!!!

This beer turned out quite well. It's nice and clear and has a vey strong taste of grapefruit that kinda smacks you round the head if you like a hoppy beer give it a try
