Sodium Percarbonate

Post by Kev888 » Wed Aug 08, 2012 10:41 am

Quite some time ago, I got a 25kg sack of percarbonate off the UK ebay - there were quite a few sellers and loads of listings of different pack sizes. Today I did a search and got none of any size..

Does anyone know if something (selling rules etc) have changed that may have caused this, and/or (more importantly) are there any other good places to get it in large packs?

Cheers

It is classified for transport (oxidiser), perhaps there has been a clamp down or incident. Might be that it can be used in homemade bombs as well, so that could be another reason.

Yes I wondered if it may be something like that :-/

Just been doing a bit of poking about and discovered that both the ebayers I've bought from in the past are no longer members, so perhaps its ebay getting twitchy. One of them has their own online shop though here, so it doesn't seem to be completely banned for sale, as yet.
