bombadier a/g not clearing

been in the keg now for 4 weeks and still very cloudy, should i add some finnings or just leave it, had a sample and its not the best beer ive ever made but i hope time will help it out.

What yeast did you use?

Did you use any kettle finnings?

What grains did you use?

safale4 yeast, no kettle finnings,

pale malt
crystal malt
black malt

If it hasn't cleared in 4 weeks then it's well worth trying finings.

The not very good taste could easily be the result of too much yeast still being in suspension.

However, as you didn't use copper finings the lack of clarity may not be yeast. Do you remember if the wort was clear when it went into the fermenting vessel, before you added the yeast?

yes im sure it was quite clear before adding the yeast, its been in the fridge for a few days to cool also

There you go, then. The cloudiness is yeast and chilling the beer and/or fining it should sort it out for you.

Once the yeast's gone you'll be able to taste the beer properly.
