As anybody ever used theses to make a pair cider.Cheers

No, but I'm intrigued.
Anything other than fresh fruit is "a whole nuther thing", but not necessarily bad. For instance, plum wine and prune wine (same fruit, just the dried form) are surprisingly different, but both good.
Bear in mind, you'll likely pickup some weird, metallic, and plasticy tastes from oxidation, the sugar canning syrup, the lining, the tin itself, etc.

I bought around 6 tins of pears to do this very thing months and months ago... still don't have the balls to do it.

May just give it a go,little bit of an experiment.

1 tin of pairs crushed up plus syrup
200 grams of sugar
4litres of water
1 cup of strong tea
Pectolase
Yeast Nutrient
Cider Yeast

Below is a great link to a post on this site from a fella who made a pear cider a while back there's some great pictures and he tells u how to deal with the pulp issue ur going to face!
Also throw some cinnamon in it goes amazingly well with pears!
