Interesting to read that some experimental British hop varieties that were rejected 50 years ago may make a comeback as they could be as interesting as some of the new world hops: http://www.pencilandspoon.com/2013/02/h ... ed-in.html

I certainly don't want rid of my lovely goldings, fuggles and challenger, but it would be nice to see some English character applied to the modern super hop.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

Nice post Jocky, I've come over all peculiar just reading that link. :D
Single hop brews lined up for today are Endeavour and Keyworth Mid. Spose I'd better get to bed so I can get them both done! =P~

Can't be arsed to keep changing this bit, so, drinking some beer and wanting to brew many more!

Sir, you are drunk! Yes madam, and you are ugly, but in the morning I shall be sober! - WSC

Just tasted my first Endeavour on the night I drank he last of my Citra. Ok the Citra was 250g and the endeavour on;y 100g. but whilst the Endeavour is pleasant, I cant see myself pushing the loadings up anywhere near the Citra, and I can see me brewing the Citra again and perhaps dry hopping it too!
