Anyone ever been on on and can recommend it? I can manage five days or so away from home and would like to find a well regarded one.

http://www.brewlab.co.uk/

I haven't been on any of their courses myself, maybe someone who has done so can respond?

That must be something special at those prices. I wonder how they compare to PCB's courses, which seem about half this price.

They seem about standard really. You should see the cost of some of the courses I've been on with work in the last few years.

Ha! Internet advertising working its (lack of) wonders.....anyway, thanks for removing my blinkers. Had a look at that and wonder if 1 day is too short.

done both brewlabs and porters each is better in some ways over the other. Porters is very much centred on buying his kit, the brewlabs is a bit more "hands on" i.m.e. both are good and like his kit, daves is one of the best value for money options on the market i.m.o. if you do daves were combats or cargo trousers and a poachers coat on the bottling day as he used to let you take home what you could carry.

he was dismayed to find out how much a well equiped scouser could carry with that many pockets

Haha thanks for the heads up..I am happy for him to refer to his kit during the course. If it is good equipment and service, fair enough.
