Does anyone else find that Beersmith's estimated final gravity is always really high? My past 3 brews (ranging from 4.5% - 7% abv) have been estimated at 10.15-10.19 FG but have all finished at 10.10-10.12.
Is it possible to correct this?

I think it depends on the yeast profile you've got set in BS. If you alter the attenuation %ages you can get it to what you're experiencing for a particular yeast.bigdave wrote:Does anyone else find that Beersmith's estimated final gravity is always really high? IIRC, the mash profile will also alter the attenuation in BeerSmith.

I find beersmith underestimates. Its an organic process though so you need to give it some slack, its an estimation and even at commercial level it isn't an exact science as they still have to liquor back when they over attenuate.
