Second BIAB Pilsner - mould

Post by D4nny74 » Thu Jun 18, 2015 10:46 am

Hi All

Did my second BIAB 10 days ago , pilsner, and decided to have a look today , due to airlock not showing any activity, the top looked like a slight mould was forming , no pics sorry, so in a blind panic I transferred to a clean fv, est FG should be 1.015 but its at 1.018 from 1.050 , should I cold crash it or carry on till it gets too 1.015 ? doesn’t taste off though :)

If it tastes ok you should be alright. Monitor it closely and perhaps drink young.

D4nny,
Google Beer Mould images. You might get an Idea of what your mould was.
