Unicorns spotted in North Norfolk!

Post by orlando » Wed Aug 19, 2015 4:14 pm

Imagine the theme from 2001 a Space Odyssey is playing in the background and behold, all you doubters! :pink:

For those with long memories it has been a long time coming but at last the brewery refurb is coming to a climax.

What do you think could be in those?

Yes, my glamorous assistant is the local Vicar.

Leg welds internally

External leg weld.

Image

Various fittings, blow off top left looks really good.

Image

More SS than you can shake a stick at.

Image

What could this be?

Image

And from its chrysalis it emerges.

Image

A really beautifully engineered butterfly valve.

Image

And finally their new home.

Image

First impressions? Blown away frankly. I'm no expert as I haven't seen many conicals but of those I have it compares with them very very favourably. The build quality and finish is exquisite.

Maxi 110's arrive in the next couple of days and they have been modded to provide temp control and will sit on a couple of brackets above the conicals. Nearly there.

Now anyone know how it all fits together and works.

All looking very good I assume that the temp control side of things is via a central mounted thermowell triclover?

They also look like the heavy duty style of conical not the tin plate stuff?

If you take a close look at the first picture showing one you can just see the side entry thermowell pocket on the left of picture. when I get the probes I will of course try it, they are long so hope the coil doesn't get in the way.

They are heavy duty and quite heavy when you move them.

Nice shiny stuff.

Are you going to be the first billion dollar valued software defined brewery, that operates in the cloud, disrupting your rivals with your velocity of delivering of value to customers and general ability to out innovate the rest of the market with your use of DevHops practices?

It'll all be for nought if he can't also leverage his synergies.
