Yes, it`s flat, but so is the Bass from the keg from my local!
It`s got a beery / sherry smell, tastes OK now, strong alcohol taste.

I'm planning a osh clone for the father in law.
I don't have this book but the recipe I have is 80% Maris otter 12% dark crystal and 8% golden syrup at 15 mins
Hops ekg and fuggles
Does that sound anything like your recipe ?
