Hop shoots are apparently the most expensive vegetable in the world :0 . Has anyone cooked with them?

I've got some Challenger hops in a large pot with 8 foot bamboo canes and twine for them to climb up once established. I'll post some photos once they're a bit more mature

Ours are 10ft after the recent sun/storm combo. No idea on variety but they’re lemony. Anyone near south brum is welcome to pick them in september.

Planted these a couple of months ago. They’re a good 7 foot now. Hoping to get a few cones off them
Cheers and gone,

My monster triffid it at least 12 to 18 ft now, growing like topsy with this wet weather

Here are mine. Only potted them in spring so I think next year they'll come back even stronger!

What did everyone get this year then? I managed to have about 1kg of hallertauer mittelfrueh dry weight ( glad I like it) and still have another similar amount to pick but I don't think I will, also brewed a centennial wet hop beer today with 1.5kg of wet hops and can probably pick another kg tomorrow to dry. Overall a bumper crop this year.

Nice! What beers do you have planned for them, if any yet?
