70% off top end stainless
70% off top end stainless
Saw this on Bristol Brewers, passing on to "the wider community"
Don't know anything about Ubrew but found a Ubrew on Trip Advisor, hmm, exercise caution if taking a punt.

Some serious bargains there but yes a good idea to exercise caution.
Re: 70% off top end stainless
I know Ubrew were a business based in Bermondsey (London) until they recently closed down. They had a homebrew club and kit you could brew on for a fee. Not sure if above is genuine but would have been tempted if the fermenters were a smaller size!

Not sure what if any consumer rights apply if buying from liquidators - e.g. if liquidator takes descriptions from company directors and you get an item not as described e.g. heavily scratched FV? That's the sort of thing I had in mind.

Re: 70% off top end stainless
I believe it’s genuine.
From when I was visiting UBrew (not as a brewer) I will also say that it’s all good kit, but has generally been very well used.
Expect to replace seals, or at least to pressure cook/steam/bleach everything as there will be bugs hiding in stuff.
Ball valves on any of the kit may also need replacing - they won’t have been broken down for a long time for an internal clean, and as a result may be impossible to take apart any more.

Re: 70% off top end stainless
I’ve seen this share around a LOT so I suspect they have a lot of offers.

Probably been bought as a complete lot by a homebrew company. Might see a load of ‘reconditioned’ fermenters for sale soon

Re: 70% off top end stainless
There has been a few people in contact with the liquidation company, but they don't seem to be too responsive.
But the offer is genuine - we got a heads up from the ex-head of ubrew about it, and we were expecting the brew kit to hit the liquidators at some stage.

Out of interest, anyone bought any of those?
Do liquidation companies ship things, or do you have to collect them yourself?
