Just an observation! How are you intending to pour from the keg? There’s no vented bung?

What you need is a party star tap...just like the one I have sitting barely used and unloved under my stairs. :-)

For the Princely sum of £30 Ill even post it to you!

That, my friend, must be a bargain!

:D
Fermenting: nowt
Conditioning: English IPA/Bretted English IPA
Drinking: Sunshine Marmalade, Festbier, Helles Bock, Smokey lagery beer, Irish Export StoutCascade APA (homegrown hops), Orval clone, Impy stout, Duvel clone, Conestoga (American Barley wine)
Planning: Dark Mild, Kozel dark (ish), Simmonds Bitter, Bitter, Citra PA and more!

Well chaps

I already have a party star tap, so which is why I use the mini kegs. Only just started and bought the party star before I realised 'cobnut' had 1.

I have been splitting my bottling between a keg and swing tops. The keg and party star are fabulous so if you do not have 1, have a look a word with 'cobnut', tis a bargain and well worth having

Cheers, I use Corny kegs these days. Only bottle my bretted beers, Belgian styles & Impy Stouts.

I would love to start working with cornies but I have no space at all. I have this is why I reuse the mini kegs and keep them under the stairs then chill for a week before I am ready to drink.

This time of year is easy as I can keep them on a shelf in the shed.
