Are there plastic closures for glass bottles that could be used during storage?

Blimey. Cheaper to put another crown cap on just for storage I have no idea how many bottles I have, but it's certainly easily into the several hundreds. Perhaps it's the brew shops way of telling me to make sure they're full of beer

Hmm. The Malt Miller ones are more expensive than those from the Home Brew Shop, but the latter are allegedly "one use only". They look identical to me though.

Thanks for the above advice, I got a bottle rinser: http://www.dowricks.com/en/small-tablet ... inser-4619 which seems to do the job, and some Starsan. I got some of those there bottle caps, might be worth buying in bulk though.

Quick question - is it really okay if there are some drips of Starsan solution still in the bottle when it comes to bottling? Won't it kill off the yeast I need for priming?

Beware of the the one trip ones they tend to split after one use
If you know anyone who is going to Portugal they can be found in Continente supermarkets at less than 3€ per 100. They come in two colours white and green buy both because bottles have slightly different interior neck diameters.
