With any 'one can' kit the quality of the extra fermentables will have the biggest impact on the final result.
I have kept 1 bottle of Coopers EB back in my maturing crate, so maybe I'll give it a taste over the weekend as it was bottled last November.
I found this to be a great kit. I brewed it with 1 kg of BKE2 and in my opinion is almost as good as the Wherry I brewed. I only brewed it a couple months ago but it tastes great. I'm going to have myself a couple over the weekend.

Wilko's home brand light lager.

Just bottled this today and allready very dissapointed. The can promised about 4.5% abc but after testing the gravity it came out at about 2.5% abv. Also looks like water with very little colour and after a quick tast test reminds me of a can of tesco 24p larger.

Will lwt it condition for a month or so but will probably throw this down the drain if it a miracle doesnt happen to save it.

On ghe plus side i can then try the ginger beer kits i have been planning on just in time for crimbo.

The results are in...... the bitterness has mellowed but the taste, or lack of it hasn't got any better IMO :|

It's only my opinion, you may love it!

If you like a Porter, EB makes a nice base for an adaptation? Or you could turn it into a Hop Gobbler :)

Think i might go for the hop gobbler and intruduce myself to grains, not tinkered with a kit yet, so will be interested to see how it turns out
