Just picked this up from my HBS

I did an extract brew made from DME and Amarillo hops, It seems to get to a rolling boil ok.

Do you think this will be ok

I hope you get on with it OK. If it'll boil for you then that's great.
I didn't like the simmerstats on mine, as I could never get reliable mash temperature steps (quite apart from the mash burning on to the element which is why I've gone for a HERMS).
I replaced the simmerstats with a PID/SSR/PT100 probe arrangement, at some expence :oops:
I am dreaming of larger shiny vessels...

The biggest problem I had was with the hops clogging the tap. Do you think I could use a sock for the hops like we do with special grains ?
