What can I say?

I did my first all grain a couple of weeks ago and it has been conditioning in the barrel for almost a week so I thought I would have a sneaky taste.

It is the nicest tasting beer I've ever made at home. The Woolly Jumper kit off Paul at Barleybottom.

It is just the best I've made. It tastes great, better than a lot of beer I've had in pubs over the last few months.

Can't wait to try a different recipe. Have been in contact with a local microbrewery and he has offered to sell me a sack of Marris Otter and let me have some of their yeast for my next brew.

Beer is the best.

It will be difficult to leave it but I am determined to leave it long enough for the flavour to fully develop. I believe this to be about four weeks in the barrel. It will be hard though considering how good it already is.
