My Fuggles

Post by WishboneBrewery » Sat Sep 26, 2009 4:20 pm

I'm wondering whether or not to pick my fuggles, while the weather is dry.
When I open a hop up they smell good and are pretty sticky when you rub them in your hands, with the plant and its yellowing leaves I thought it might be better to sacrifice the hops to give the plant a rest.

Here's the pictures :)

If its stays dry tonight I'll maybe pick tomorrow then.
I wasn't planning on splitting anything, they were late planted just this year so I plan to let them be for a year first.
Fingers crossed, I'll get some cuttings going next year... will let those go via JBK. :)
