Bottle conditioning question

Post by mwone13 » Fri Nov 27, 2009 7:06 pm

I have finished brewing my batch of london pride clone, all went well and it's been conditioning for 4 weeks,. I started drinking after 2 weeks and it was fine, but i have just noticed today that the dorment yeast on the bottom is waving around just off the bottom of the bottles, not settled as before. Any thoughts on this happening ? I would have expected it to stick more if anything. The one thing that has changed is the temp. It is now a lot colder than it was ( say down to 7-9c) would this make a differance ? Many thanks.

The colder temps should make the yeast settle into dormancy rather than making them active 8-[ what yeast did you use?
