5L Water Bottle-Sterilising

Just thinking of quicker ways to brew some stuff. If I am fermenting in a fresh 5l water bottle, e.g wine, mead, can I dash the water and ferment straight away without sterilising the bottle?

Hmmm I would sterilise just because its a very good habit to get into, but you don't REALLY need to in this case

well usually always sterilise but just thinking about a quick fix with cheap ingrediants and no strings and no shit. say, if im doing a mead in it I can wack it out in 30 mins. take-away brewing!
