Swiss Vodka
Re: Swiss Vodka
You can buy turbo yeast that will ferment 20l of water and 8 bags of sugar to 20%abv.
The yeast gives a lot of 'off flavours' and leaves the 'spirit' a milky apperance, so you would also need to clear it with finnigs and filter it through a good activated carbon filter.
If I wanted to make a high % spirit, personally I would make a very strong Turbo Cider and use a good champagne yeast, then you can put it in the freezer and throw away the frozen water

Hahahaa!
Thanks Geeezah I just remembered that I made some gin a 6/7 months ago using the freeze~throw technique,
it must be somewhere under the mess in my garage! It must be worth a test by now!
Anyone any ideas how your surpost to leave it maturing?
