I would boil an ounce of Saaz along with the kit for 15 minutes, and maybe steep the same again at the end for some aroma. You could use any good aroma hops, but lager ones would be most appropriate (Hallertau, Tettnang, Spalt etc)

Never heard of Spalt until yesterday.
Where's it from?

Cool. Potbelly had some. It didn't take me long to get to like the smell of hops!

Do you just put the hops in a large pan with the kit or do you put the hops in a bag (think i read this somewhere) with the kit
