Diastatic LME

Been looking at bulk extract and bulldog diastatic is reasonable option. It would be nice to have the option to throw in some oats or biscuit malt but most of time regular LME is fine.

My question is, if I am 80% of the time doing a brew which doesn't require the alpha/beta enzymes is this an issue or do they just get boiled out?

That's my suspicion too. Its all natural in all-grain therefore can't be bad in extract even if the diastic qualities of the malt have nothing to convert. I've ordered a few cans of it, and if its simply light LME and doesn't cost anything extra I can't think of a reason to not use it for all brews as standard.
