Not sure the best forum to post this but ok.
I'm currently in Burnham on Sea and heading back to Suffolk tomorrow. So a lengthy trip up the M5 then a good hour along the M4 before hitting the M25. Anyone know of any homebrew shops that I could take a little detour too? I'd like to be able to get some bits and pieces on the way back and would like to visit a good homebrew shop that I may not have th chance to otherwise. Any suggestions?

How big a detour do you fancy? The homebrew shop in aldershot could be on route if you avoided the m5/m4 and cut across country to the A303/M3 ,shepton mallet-warminster-A36 to the A303,and you get to wave at stonehenge
Warning: The Dutch Coffeeshops products may contain drugs. Drinks containing caffeine should be used with care and moderation

I've had good service & delivery from Malt Miller, never collected my order though.

I brew therefore I ... I .... forget

Cheers guys, I forgot about the malt miller, I use them already! That seems it would only be a half hour detour. Also the aldershot store doesn't look too far out of the way.

Have you been to The Homebrew Shop in Hampshire? http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/index.html
Looks like you'd take M4 and it may add about 45 minutes?
P.S. Tell me about your Soured Guinness clone. Did you allow part of the mash to sour with lacto bacteria or what? How's it taste?

I would definitely recommend dropping in to see rob at maltmiller. I am collecting some bits from him tomorrow so I might see you there...

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to drop in anywhere! Next time I travel I will try and pop in.
Seymour, the guinness had sat in a keg since the 16th July`, I hadnt got a spare tap to connect it too, until this morning! Unfortunately I found it was frozen at the bottom where I had a slight freezer malfunction but I have managed to get a glass out of it as I was dying to try it. Its n ice, but its still ice cold atm so I cant really pick out any flavours. Its not too sour which I worried about but I'm taking some to a party tonight to get some opinions!
As for souring it, I poured 2 cans of guinness into a bowl and left them for 3-4 days covered with foil. I cant remember if I added it at flameout... or the last 5 mins. I again forgot to make note of what I did thoroughly.
