Does anyone know a definitive list of which lager kits are supplied with actual lager yeast as i am attempting to brew some in a fridge i have got, at a temp of about 12 deg C.

Real Lager Yeast
Re: Real Lager Yeast
Coopers Pilsner and Coopers European lager are supplied with lager yeast. I don't know about any others though. If in doubt I would fork out a few quid extra and but a separate lager yeast, saflager is a reliable yeast. I tried the new Australian Mauribrew lager yeast with a Coopers Australian Lager, but it turned out pretty awful, although I put this down to the temperature getting way too high, but if I do a lager again I shall use saflager and ferment at 12c

Re: Real Lager Yeast
A lot of kits have a mix of lager and ale yeast. I think the idea is to provide the best of both world's but it doesn't hit the mark for me.
