I think the problem with last year was that you had to brew a mild. I know its hard to judge but I don't think there should be any category. You'd get far more entries. I was going to enter my stout but it turned out horrible due to my water profile and wasn't a mild.

Great idea all the same.

I don't get to brew often enough to enter one in time but will probably be able to when the brewery is finished.

Would be good if there was a way of putting say £2 each in and the winner won the pool at the end. that way no one is really stumping up much cash?
Though if there is a competition I'll make an effort to partake this year :D
