Inoxia stainless mesh filter

I use stainless braid as a hop filter in my kettle, but have been thinking of adding some extra filtering, as it sometimes gets blocked.

I just came across this...




Looking rather like 98L stockpot size.

A one-off, I suspect, but I've emailed them anyway.

looks nice, but for hops the holes may be a bit big, afaik #30 mesh is the suggested filter size for flower hops while pellets are better filtered thru #40 mesh

#30 mesh can be got on ebay in simple mesh form or in a splatter guard..

heres what i did with mine.. i added a back of #30 mesh cut 1cm wider round the edge, and pinched the 2 together using a length of split beerline,

as i had the #30 mesh i can confirm the splatter guard mesh looks identical in size to my eye.. u cld get 2 but i dont think 3/8" beerline would stretch over 2 edges, but u could carefully de-edge one??
