Hi guys,
I've just been setting up my new kegging system, x4 20 litre crusader kegs, 6 product gas board from norm and co2 tank. All very exciting!
Looking at the connection from the co2 tank to the hose that norm supplied, it's seemingly missing a washer and so was obviously leaking when I first tried the tank.
I cut a washer from some silicon sheet refitted, now there's no apparent leak that i can feel/hear, but I'm concerned that it might slow leak under pressure if it leave it on.
Question is will a silicon washer hold back the co2 or do I need to get something else?
Thanks

Re: Silicon co2 tank washer?
think u need something else.. my regs have composite washers a steel inner circle crimping an outer rubber ring.. pm me your address and cover the postage and i will send u one as i ebayed 10 after needing one, - always check the gas bottle mating face b4 accepting the bottle as exchange , a gnarled one will eat the washer, probably seal ok on that use, but be useless for the next bottle..
ist update for months n months..
