Anyone know where I can get Nylon Washers for CO2 Regulators?
It goes between the regs and the CO2 cylinder.
I have e-mailed all the welding suppliers in my area and not one
has replied.
I have seen them on E-bay and Amazon but all in the US.
Like these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nylon-Washers-F ... B00AU0OF6K
Cheers.

Re: Seals
So out curiosity, where did you find them, or did you get some ordinary nylon type ( whatever ordinary is)
As I have thought, what if mine leaks after I change the bottle,
Thanks

Hi Wonky
I ordered them from here:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ASSORTED-DOWT ... 0337053449
I ran out of patience looking for the nylon ones, hopefully these will do the job.

Re: Seals
Fwiw thats what i have, ironically when searching for replacements when someone else was looking all that seemed to be available at the time was the solid nylon jobbies..
its worth noting that what screwed up my washer was a chewed up bottle valve face, its always worth inspecting the refilled bottle valve face for knocks n dents before accepting a replacement from the supplier, in my case the gnarled up bottle valve face sealed ok, but on fitting the next bottle i discovered how it had destroyed my washer when the bottle dropped overnight from a leak at that point....

Re: Seals
Hi all, first time poster, long term reader!
When I was looking for spare CO2 washers/seals for my regulator, it took along time to find any and like the OP, alsways ended up with US sites.
Anyhow, after a bit of digging around, I eventually found both Nylon and metal CO2 washers on the Brandels website, so ordered up a few for the spares box.
Links below for anyone still looking for either type
Nylon CO2 Washers:

Metal CO2 Washers (with rubber gasket):

Re: Seals
Not sure if you have solved your seal issues but I have found the problem with dowty washers is the external diameter will not always fit inside the regulator nut. I currently have some 12mm ones that I am waiting to try as these appear to be the right size.
Might take a look at Brandwels and get a stock of the nylon ones, just in case.

Yeh, thanks swiller, for posting where you found them, it does save time looking,
And also Fil, for pointing out about the slack peeps that damage the bottles valve.
