KeyKeg with a beer engine

Post by chris2012 » Thu Jun 11, 2015 4:56 pm

Anyone used a KeyKeg with a beer engine out of interest, I quite like the idea of using one if the beer will keep
longer.

Do you need to do anything special to hook up to a beer engine?

From what I understand KeyKegs and KeyCasks are the same thing, in that they both have a bag the beer comes out of, with
pressure being exerted on the bag.

Edit:

I just found this tweet - https://twitter.com/keykeg/status/237533703729987585

"KeyCask® on beer engine? Use KeyCask coupler. Leave the gas side coupler open. Pull lever. Vacuum will allow beer to be dispensed."

From what I can tell there is only one type of coupler, which has a gas line and beer line, so i'd just get one of those and whack the beer line onto a beer engine.
