Cornelius secondary regulator
Cornelius secondary regulator
Hi can any one tell me what the small tube under the cornelius regulator is for, as soon as I put my co2 on it comes straight out. Was working fine until I changed a keg.

Re: Cornelius secondary regulator
Don't qoute me on this, but I think that......inside the regulator there is a diaphragm that opens and closes the gas. the small tube allows it to move ie atmospheric pressure.... , if the said diapharagm splits then the gas gets to find the easy way out
Well it's the way a propane reg I have works....
So I think you need a new reg
/or diaphragm... that's if I'm looking at the right thing. As I see 2 regs, can't you isolate the one that's fluffed up.
Hope this helps

The rebuild kits look quite easy to do if you can get one in the UK.

Re: Cornelius secondary regulator
Even though those regs have Cornelius gauges you may have more luck searching for Redditch Controls
Re: Cornelius secondary regulator
Thanks for that but also no luck there don't think I will be buying tease regulators again. I have had nothing but trouble with them.
