I have always considered it a straight forward pale ale. Not an IPA and defiantly not an APA

It's some very nationality confused Galaxy if it thinks it's american.

APA could be Australian Pale Ale.

It was never intended to be put in any particular category. I use English malt base Belgium specialized malts and Aussie hops. I know Rob sold it with American yeast but I have always use WLP002 but that was impractical to sell as an all grain kit.

I'm keeping an eye out for when new stocks of Galaxy arrive, going to get a good amount in stock 8) .
