Bottled and kegged

Post by Crafty Tim » Thu Mar 11, 2021 2:18 pm

Well all done. First time bottling and using a mini keg. Learnt a few tips for next time ! I've used a Cooper's fermentation bucket for the first time too and I think it's great. A tube fits to the tap with a flow control so it helps when filling bottles and then I just removed it to fill the mini Kegs. Let's see how they turn out ImageImage

CT,
Looking Good! :D
Have you tried re-using kegs from the supermarket?
Or are you putting a tap thing on yours?

Cheers mate Image

The first keg is one I got from a pub so has the little tap thingy that you pull out and the other is one of 3 Brewferm kegs so no tap. Yes, I'll be using a party star Tap that you fit to the top. Takes 16 gram co2 cartridges . Shame as I have a load of 8gram ones ImageImage

Hello Tim.Providing your 8g cartridges are the same length as the 12g wrap insulating tape around them until they are of the same diameter as the 12g.They will then fit in the holder on your party star deluxe dispenser.
